The Hotel's subsidiary Emerald Tower is located at Madewini on the Linden Highway. The Lodge was opened in 1992 as an outdoorsy resort with little cabins, a main two-story building for recreation and dining, a white sand beach on the Madewini Creek with a beach cabin, staff quarters and storage buildings.
